Summer Reading
Looking for ideas for good books to read this summer?  Check out our Summer Reading page.  You'll find listings for great books for grades four through eight.

Media Center Hours
The media center is open all day, from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm and at lunchtimes. You'll need a pass from your teacher to come to the Media Center during class hours.

The Media Center Computer Lab
Our new lab is open the same hours as the media center. MC Lab computers have all of the programs found on our computer lab machines, with the exception of Microsoft Office, which has been replaced by OpenOffice. OpenOffice files can all be opened and used by Microsoft Office programs, as long as you save them in Microsoft formats - .doc, .ppt, and so on. OpenOffice is free, so you might want to consider downloading and installing it on your home computer. Find it at: http://openoffice.org-suite.com/

Our new media center catalog, Follett's Destiny, is now available online.  Follow the links to find out if we own a book you're looking for.

Electronic Use Policy
This policy covers the rights and responsibilities of users of the district computers.  A copy of the Use Policy Agreement form, which must be on file in the media center before computers can be used, is included.

All search engines are not created equal. Some cover different segments of the internet, others bring back their results according to different criteria. Try a new search engine; you may be surprised at what you find!
